In addition to our regular sporting events, we also have numerous Intramural activities open to all students. Currently these include Frisbee Fling, Get in Shape for Volleyball Tryouts, Intramural Basketball, and Weight Lifting. On many Saturdays, the Schmucker Gym is open for students who want to play.

OPEN GYM is exactly what it sounds like. On Open Gym days, the Schmucker Gym is OPEN for the use of Schmucker students! Do you want to play some pickup games of basketball, volleyball, soccer, hardcore hopscotch? or do you want to walk/jog/sprint the track? or Maybe you have something else in mind... Since it is open gym, the choice is YOURS.

Volleyball Enthusiasts: Are you going to be trying out for club or travel volleyball? Here is a chance to shake off the rust and get in shape for tryouts. Or perhaps you just want to bump, set, and spike your way into Fall Break. Volleyball enthusiasts of any age and/or skill level are welcome to join former SMS vball coaches and players for vball action Thursday after school until .

Intramural Basketball is open to any student who wants to play basketball. It meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from 4:00-6:00pm. See Miss Husband in Room 239 for questions.

Intramural Weightlifting started Oct. 18, and will continue every and night from until March. If you would like to try it out, simply meet in the music hallway after school on one of the scheduled days. Weightlifting is a great way to prepare for the wrestling and track seasons, but it is also just a great way to get bigger and stronger, so come and join Mr. Hawley and the crew on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
