History

Schmucker Middle School was built in 1968 and serves families from Bittersweet, Elsie Rogers, Moran, Prairie Vista, and Walt Disney Elementary Schools.  The school is named after Paul H. Schmucker, a former social studies teacher at Penn High School. The school underwent a major renovation that improved instructional areas and the interior climate.  The project was finished in the fall of 2001.
