On October 7th, 8th and 9th we will be holding try-outs for the Schmucker Boys’ Basketball 7th and 8th grade teams. Try-outs will be from 4:00 to 6:30pm on Wednesday and Thursday and to be announced times for Friday. Please have a ride home after try-outs. THESE TIMES MAY CHANGE FROM 6-8:30pm if volley ball wins.
You must have a Sports’ Physical on fiel to try out. No Exceptions can me made. You also need a signed Code of Conduct Turned in to remain on the team.
Please wear a shirt with your last name on it for quick identification every day during try-outs. Get tape such as wide masking tape or athletic tape with your name on it if you have no shirts with names on it. You’ll also need a pair of athletic shoes and shorts.
If you make the team, the first practice is Saturday from 8:00-10:00am. There will be Saturday practices throgh the season. A detailed practice schedule will be given out on Friday.
