Congratulations to 6th grader Ellie Niemier for her participation at the Northern Indiana Regional Science and Engineering Fair on Saturday. Ellie's project, "How does habitat impact stream water quality?", earned a first place ranking and three other distinguished awards: the IUSB Junior Researcher Award in Life Science, the Student Award of Geoscience Excellence, and the Water Crusader Award. In addition to this, Ellie was selected to participate in the Indiana state science fair later this month! Great work, Ellie!
