Schmucker Middle School is enhancing its speech therapy program thanks to a grant awarded by the PHM Education Foundation (PHMEF). Jennifer Turnblom, Executive Director of PHMEF, visited the school to present a check for $2,626.00 to Jenna Pacheco for her “Speech Room Upgrades” project.
The grant will fund the purchase of a video smart board, bringing advanced interactive technology to therapy sessions. This upgrade will allow for more effective and engaging therapy, benefiting students with communication difficulties. The interactive features of the smart board will provide tailored support under the guidance of skilled speech therapy, helping students build confidence and improve their communication skills.
