Congratulations to our middle school scientists who participated in the regional science fair at Notre Dame this weekend (NIRSEF)!
7th grader Yaseen Ahmed was awarded a 3rd place ribbon and also was recognized with the Water Crusader Award and the Ricoh Sustainable Development Award.
6th grader Adeline Niemier was awarded a 1st place ribbon and was also recognized with the Junior Researcher Award in Life Science and the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge Award. She was also invited to participate in the Hoosier Science and Engineering Fair in April!
8th grader Ellie Niemier was awarded a 1st place ribbon and was also recognized with the Student Award for Geoscience Excellence, Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge Award, Water Crusader Award, Science Policy Initiative Community Impact Award, and a Life Science Advancement Award. She was also invited to participate in the Hoosier Science and Engineering Fair in April!
