Attention all current 6th and 7th graders interested in trying out for the Schmucker cheer team next year:

Cheerleading tryouts will be April 12th, 13th, and 14th from 4:00 - 6:00 in the Main Gym at Schmucker.

Tryouts will be for both football cheer and basketball cheer at this time.

In order to try out, all athletes must have a physical on file. If you did not compete in a sport this year at Schmucker, you will NEED to turn in a HARD COPY of your physical to the main office or Coach Miller before tryouts begin.

The first day of practice for the 2021 SMS Boys’ Track & Field team is Monday, March 22...

- Are you ready to run fast, jump high, fly far, and/or throw far?

- How about improving your times and working as a team on a daily basis?

In early February, St. Joseph Health System Sports Medicine, Beacon Medical Group Sports Medicine and The South Bend Clinic notified Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation and other St. Joseph County high schools that they would not be able to continue the practice of their physicians providing school based "on-site" pre-participation physical examinations for student-athletes.

Girls, it’s time to shoot some hoops!

8^th Grade Girls Basketball Tryouts will be held in the SMS Gym on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 15 and 16, from 4:15 – 6:15.

7^th Grade Girls Basketball Tryouts will be held in the SMS Gym on Thursday and Friday, December 17 and 18, from 4:15 – 6:15.
