Schmucker Alumnae Graduates Penn as Valedictorians

All 17 valedictorians recognized during Commencement May 25, 2018

Penn High School was proud to have 17 students earn valedictorian honors and two students earn salutatorian honors for the Class of 2018 during Commencement held on Friday, May 25, 2018.

 

Of those 17 Valedictorians, two of them, Madeline Cullison and Erin Ludwig, attended Schmucker Middle School.

Madeline attended both Bittersweet Elementary School and Schmucker.

 

Madeline’s college plans are to attend Purdue University and major in Biochemistry with a minor in Spanish. She will then pursue a career in research.

 

While attending Penn, Madeline was involved in Key Club, Dream Commission Society, powder Puff Football, Kingsmen Court  and was a Commended Scholar.

 

Erin Ludwig

ERIN LUDWIG

 

Erin attended both Prairie Vista Elementary School and Schmucker.

 

Erin’s college plans are to attend the University of Notre Dame where she will major in Neuroscience and Behavior. Her career plan is in the Life Sciences.

 

While attending Penn, Erin’s activities, honors and team memberships included Soccer (State Champions in 2016 & 2017, National Champions in 2017), Tennis, President of Handwritten Hearts, National Honor Society, Key Club, Freshmen Mentor, Kingsmen Tutor, winner of the C. Eugene Cato Memorial Scholarship Award presented by the Indiana High School Athletic Association.
